It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you‘ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.  That’s the reason for

GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group understands what you are experiencing and wants to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

If you or someone you know is struggling with the loss of a loved one, GriefShare is the place to begin the healing and recovery. This seminar/support group will be offered at church, beginning on Tuesday, September 9th, from 7-8:30 PM, and will run weekly through October 28th. Registration fee will be $15.00 (which includes the book).

GriefShare is a Christ-centered program designed to help you work through the emotional pain of losing a loved one. In the support group, you will find others who understand your feelings and struggles. You will also receive valuable information through the video seminars given by experts.  GriefShare helps each individual deal with topics such as:

· When Your Dreams Fall Apart

· The Seasons of Grief

· Emotions of Grief

· Your Family and Grief

· Growing Through Grief

       ... and many others

Don't wait any longer. Come get the help you need in order to begin the healing process and start rebuilding your life.

If you are interested in being a part of GriefShare, please register at the information desk, or contact Sean Smith at the church office (508) 222-9400 ext 102.

If someone you know has lost a loved one,

make sure he or she knows about GriefShare.

It might just be the best thing you could do to help.

Your journey from mourning to joy.

After the funeral,

when friends and family have gone home,

when the cards and telephone calls stop coming,

when everyone else has resumed a normal life,

the real work of grief recovery begins.
