The Hole in Our Gospel Campaign
WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT OF US?
"The Gospel, or good news, proclaimed by Jesus was so much more than a private transaction between God and us. It was a vision of a changed people challenging and changing the prevailing values and practices of our world. Living out our faith privately was never meant to be an option." (Rich Stearns)
Frightening. Liberating. Empowering. As we look into the faces of extreme poverty, will we allow God to take us to a new place of compassion and redefine our responsibilities as Christians?
Join us as we are challenged together through this church-wide campaign, which will run through March 28th.

Examine our hearts and remove the blinders so we are willing to see the pain and suffering in the world, because "it's always personal."

Week 1 Objective Statement:
To better Understand Jesus’ Mission of Reconciliation, Compassion, and Justice as we bring God’s Kingdom to the poor (spiritual and physical), which is the “Whole” Gospel.

Campaign Prayer
It is our prayer that throughout this time together all of us will allow God to break our hearts for the things that break His and step inside of the personal stories of real people. We pray that we will better understand Jesus' Mission of reconciliation, compassion, and justice as we bring God's kingdom to the poor (spiritual and physical). But most of all, we pray that God will change our lives and transform our church so that we will live out the "Whole" gospel by making a difference in our world with the resources we have been given.
