Changing the Conversation

Trying to talk to people in the community about God and church isn’t easy. The majority of people would find that kind of conversation of little value, or perhaps even offensive. They have not seen the local churches as local forces for good. They haven’t heard much of the “Good News” of God’s love for them, and assume a Sunday sermon would be of no practical use - or worse, a guilt trip.

Our goal is to change that perception by looking for ways and projects that would benefit our community in real and practical ways. And our Sunday teachings are focused on putting God’s principles to use in everyday life - because they work and make life better.

Loving God/Loving People - it will change the conversation.

In order to begin to change that conversation, we have to participate in the discussion!
One way we are doing that is through monthly articles Pastor Dennis is writing for the local newspaper. They are available below for you to read.
