Jesus instituted communion on the very night that he was betrayed. So his last interaction with his friends was to give them a way to remember His coming death and resurrection, and all that it would mean to them and all Christians.
When we take communion, we remember and acknowledge that through the death of Christ we have forgiveness for our sins, and through His resurrection we have a new start.
The first Sunday of every month we have Communion at both services. Communion is also made available to those attending the service in the Café venue.
