Lead Haiti  making a difference with leadership…In November of 2009, Community Covenant Church, in conjunction with the Willow Creek Association, assisted the Haitian community in hosting the third annual Global Leadership Summit in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Our goal is to bring sound leadership principles to the Haitian church, business and government leaders through an intensive, two-day training conference. The speakers are the same as those presented during the Leadership Summit hosted by the Willow Creek Association and broadcast via satellite throughout the United States and Canada each August. It is our hope is to expand this effort into other leadership training events that will help equip Haitian leaders to more effectively lead as they work to bring real solutions to their country in desperate need of change. |
