Who We Are

Our Core Values

Connecting

“Connecting” is the beginning step of your spiritual journey.

The most important thing you can do in and with your life is to connect it to God. We were created to have a relationship with Him, to know and experience His love, forgiveness and guidance. Jesus died to make that possible; and when you connect to Him your life has purpose and significance beyond yourself and today.

To grow in that relationship, you need to be connected to a church where you can learn and be encouraged and helped along the way - a place where you can give and receive - a church family.

Growing

“Growing” is changing, through the Holy Spirit, from the inside out.

Spiritual growth is not so much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" - becoming more like Christ.

It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. As we pursue God, building that relationship, we learn to love people as He did.

Serving

“Serving” is a natural result of growing in faith.

The closer we grow to Jesus, the more we begin to look at others as He did, with love and compassion; and the desire to serve will follow.

The Bible teaches that everyone is equipped and called to serve within the church. We have all been given special gifts by God to prepare and empower us to serve in a unique way. Discovering these gifts and applying them will bring satisfaction and success. Not sure what your gifts and talents are? We’ll help you find out.

Reaching

Reaching” makes a difference, down the street and around the world.

A church is not meant to be an island unto itself, seeking only the good of its members. Jesus met the needs of others beyond the circle of His friends - people who were sick or ostracized by society or poor and helpless.

If we are to follow Jesus, we also must see those in need - and respond as we are able.

Worshiping

“Worship” is our response to God for Who He is and what He has done.

We worship God by the things we say and the way we live. It’s giving Him our best - because He gave us His life.

As wonderful and impacting as music can be, it is not worship. It is an expression of worship. Worship is the grateful attitude of our hearts and our desire for and commitment to God expressed in our daily lives.
