Women Reaching Women

Imagine a place where women find friendship, relaxation and just plain fun ….OKAY now imagine that place being your church! No matter where we are in life, we all appreciate the chance to connect with friends. We all need to grow in our faith. We all long to use our unique talents to lead or serve. We all care about reaching out to others. We all want our lives to reflect our joy and gratitude to God.

Here are ways you can get involved:

First Saturday:This is a monthly gathering on the 1st Saturday of the month where women come together and explore the issues that matter most to us. Join us at 8:30 AM for coffee and breakfast goodies followed by an interactive presentation by various women from CCC. Meeting usually ends by 10:00 AM.

Women Reaching Women Outreach: This program is for women to reach out to women of all ages and culture with support, encouragement and friendship. We are currently offering sewing classes at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections-Women’s Division. The women are making dolls which are then donated to a variety of social service agencies. If you would like to know how you might get involved or if you have any questions, contact us.

Handiworks Night: The third Thursday of every month (6:30) women gather at the church to work on craft projects. Women are scrap booking, card making, knitting, doing needle work or just enjoying hanging out with the girls.

Women’s Weekend Retreat: Every other year we head out for some time away – just us girls! We have our own CCC women speaker’s, free time, fellowship, small group experiences, some relaxation and more.
